What I Ate Wednesday

Welcome to another edition of What I Ate Wednesday! Instead of showing you what I ate in a day, I want to show off the food that was made for a potluck I hosted on Sunday. I run a fun Meetup group called Montclair Vegans, and I like to have potlucks about once a month. This one had a brunch theme, which means anything goes! We really do have amazing cooks in the group, and there were quite a few declarations of this being the best potluck group around while everyone was enjoying their food. One friend told me that he’s left potlucks from other groups hungry because all there was to eat was chips and dip, and I myself was once at a potluck with another group where someone walked in and proudly plopped down a can of peanuts on the food table alongside bags of potato chips and containers of store-bought hummus. Seriously.
