It's Wednesday, so it's time once again for What I Ate Wednesday! Today I'll show you what I ate on Sunday. I had a crazy week last week and I did a lot of catching up on Sunday. It was Super Bowl Sunday, but we're not into sports here in our house. In fact, when I met Dennis he said his idea of a super bowl was something that held a lot of cornflakes.
Instead of breakfast and lunch, I made a giant brunch of tofu scramble and roasted potatoes. The scramble was made with onion, mushooms and kale and was really tasty.
My mid-afternoon snack was Teeccino and some chocolate. I bought Alter Eco's dark chocolate with crunchy puffed quinoa, which is amazing! It's kind of like a grown up Crunch bar.
I had planned on heating up leftovers for dinner, but Dennis decided he wanted to go out for a little drive because he had been doing work on the computer all day. He picked us up tacos from Tinga in Montclair. The tacos are stuffed with beans, rice, lettuce and tomatoes and they come with a side salad. We ordered grilled portobellos and added them to the tacos and also had a little bit of guacamole and chips.
Througout the day we watched the Puppy Bowl, and Tallulah enjoyed the kitten half time show.
The day ended with a glass of wine and Downton Abbey. It was a perfect Sunday!
