About Dianne

I am a trained artist, but after many years of working in offices as a graphic designer, I needed a change. My own health improved after switching to a vegan diet many years ago, and I developed a passion for nutrition and cooking. I realized that I needed to share my new found knowledge with others and decided to study holistic health and nutrition. I love helping people change their diets and improve their health!

I received my training to practice Holistic Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, and I have Holistic Health Practitioner certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I am a certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach through Victoria Moran’s Vegan Lifestyle Academy and I have a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell University. Because of my passion for vegan cooking I have also taken many cooking classes at various places, including the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City.

I write the Meatless Monday column for the NJ food website Hot From the Kettle and I am a contributing writer for Chic Vegan. I also post on Veg Kitchen.com, the largest vegan recipe data base online.

I still love art and design, so I do a little bit here and there in my free time. I’m also rather crafty and I like to host little parties. I believe community is important, so I run a NJ MeetUp group called Montclair Vegans.
