Vegetarianism can naturally lead to a concern for the welfare of all animals. Unfortunately, humans exploit animals in all ways, not just through meat production. Most people would stop and help if they saw an animal in danger, but don’t even realize that animals suffered in the production of the goods they buy. There is such an over abundance of goods in the world today, that many people have become desensitized by their presence and don’t think about what went into their manufacture.
